Thanks! Well, my experience is some years a gesture (eg card, gift, etc) wasn't returned, then next year, things were the opposite! lol Or you might get cards/gifts/gestures from totally different people, maybe even strangers! The Universe can work in strange ways sometimes!!
So just open up to Universe - you did your bit, if someone was rude or too depressed/busy/miserable to send a card (or maybe too eco and not into the 'materialistic things') it doesn't have to mean anything.. Personally I prefer 'no gifts' and 'no cards' these days.. I do think of my friends and still love'em, it's just the clutter/zero waste thing..

Maybe time to meet new people or explore new things, like volunteering or some cool courses? Interesting people can be met in the oddest places sometimes!
If you work for a common cause together, it can also perhaps be easier to make true & trusty friends?
Some people may temporarily drift apart due to life circumstances and may drift together again... and be very happy of each other!!
And even if paths part, friends may still have each other in heart!
Or new people may be just waiting to meet you!!

He's very strong. I believe that even if he does have Wilson's Disease, that he can still live a decent sized life. His will power's the size of Mount Everest. xD It took me a while to get used to the fact that he has the disease. It was something he was born with so in a way, it's a part of who he is. (and yes, I'm still mad about that couple from the thread)

Thanks for the simpathy. *hugs* I think I've become much stronger and mature because of him. In a way, he's kinda the older brother I never had because I look up to him a lot. :3
