  • Hey, long time no talk! I hope you're doing well. I've been busy too so I can understand how it's hard to find time to come online and talk. Merry early Christmas and a happy new year!
    Well not ALWAYS if the dub is done right.

    Well I'm not much of a reader (ironic because I like to write fan fics). I'll check out the movie eventually. :3
    I've never seen the play in the US so I have the same issue. ^^;

    Well, here are the two different versions of her song. The reason why I don't like the English version is because it suffers from "pop-syndrome". -_-

    English

    Japanese

    YouTube - original japanese ponyo theme

    Well, I never saw those two but I always wanted to see Howl's. :3
    No way in heck. xD Pixar tends to be more emotional and touching where Dreamworks is usually just comedy and fart jokes. x-x I'm not much of a fan of comedy myself unless it's just done in a certain way otherwise it just seems like embarassing humor to me. A good example of humor that I like is from the play Avenue Q. Dunno if you heard of the play but it's halarious. xD Think of it as Sesame Street for aduts.

    As far as my favorite film from them, I'd say it's a close tie between Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. Not sure which one I like more but all his films are just beautiful. Probably the least one that I like that I've seen is Ponyo, but that's because in the English version they REEEAALLY botched up Ponyo's theme. I'm sure you know. You've listened to both of the virsions, right?
    He did I think. And I loved the movie. In all honesty, I think it's Dreamworks' best CG film so far with Kung Fu Panda in close second. :3
    im doing fine. My life has changed. Now I have lots of friends and start to enjoy this life more. Thanks for taking tie talkig to me through my tough time :)) Wish u the best of luck
    No worries!! I'm glad to hear you haven't totally abandon spw, but I can understand if you need breaks or time away or just plain busy! Hope everything is well and good over your end.

    Na I haven't been there in years. It was really peaceful where they had me stationed. Can't say the same for Tokyo though lol.

    Well I lived in Misawa for 3 years and fell in love with Anime and the culture. When they gave me a choice of foreign language in school I thought that would be fun.

    Sure thing, sounds like fun :) Btw how do you actually type in those foreign characters? I had to copy and paste that last response lmao.

    どういたしまして Lol sorry I couldn't help myself, I just started learning Japanese in school so I get excited when I see hiragana so I can practice. :D Still haven't done Katakana yet though.
