I was wondering when you went out and how successful it generally was.

On such occasions, actually on all occasions you could ’float’ out and ‘float’ back in.

Dr Claire Weekes in her book Self Help For Your Nerves explains everything. She proposes a very simple but effective Recovery Plan. Its hard work but does offer full recovery.
It has as its premise the notion that we are over-sensitized. There are four component parts.

Facing
Accepting
Floating
Let time pass

Check it out if you really want to recover and are prepared to write a recovery plan.

Well, my mom's back now. She came back at about 11:38. She's in her room sleeping right now. I've always been the one who stays up very late at night in my family. My dad is a bit of a night owl too, but I stay up later than him.

I'm feeling bored right now, and spaced out. I have this feeling of emptiness inside of me at the moment that I wish I could get rid of. Things seem bleak.

How come so empty?

There's also another thing that I really love about being home alone, but I won't write it here.
I must be a disgusting person due to the way I interpreted this. :D

I feel like there's not really a purpose to anything at the moment. I don't have anything to feel a desire for. Basically I just feel pretty bland right now.
Well, you stay up late and continue posting here and doing things at home when you're really tired. A lack of sleep can cause those feelings to occur. Maybe a more regulated sleep pattern can help you.

I'm starting to feel drowsy. I might need to take a nap soon.

I wish I had somewhere to go off to when I need to get away, some place outside where I can look at nature, explore, and be at peace. Kind of like an adventure, but somewhere I wouldn't only visit and explore once. I'd be able to go there whenever I wanted to and see what different things I could find in the place each time I went there.

I just woke up from a long nap. Oh, that felt good. I love a good stretch after waking up from a nice nap. Now I'm cooking this type of alfredo with chicken, yellow squash, tomatoes, and spinach in it.

Its starting to storm here so I'll have to bring my dog in. The weather down here has been pretty crappy. I may start feeling drowsy again soon. Rainy weather and eating a meal like this tends to make me feel tired.
