I've always been less shy in my foreign language classes, it just seems it's not me who is talking. Do you feel the same?

well I don't remember since it's while since I was in language class, but however I really like to express myself in other languages more than my native one.

I find it more difficult because I`m less confidant in my grammar and don`t want to sound stupid

I can't speak to anyone.. I took Latin in high school as there really weren't many students in it.. Everyone else took Spanish or French.. I never had to speak Latin though.. I am trying to figure out a way to learn Sign Language so I don't have to carry a pen and notepad around..

Yes my best friend from 7th grade though the end of high school was deaf. ASL is not a foreign language, but I felt more comfortable speaking to her than any other person only because no one understood us.

I know it's not a foreign language, I need to learn it.. I might actually be able to interact with someone then..

Well not in my English class but that's because I don't know anyone there. But writing out my thoughts it is easier in English. My native language is Spanish btw.

No, I know Hot and Cold.. That's about it.. Oh and hello.. I'd like to learn it.. :)

Hi, Roman Legion.

Cool. :). I am not fluent but I know enough to have conversations.
Do you know some tools to start learning?

After I learned how to finger spell, me and my friends communication became better, then she taught me signs, I checked out books ,looked at websites and videos. Just as hearing people have different accents, they do too, so they may have different ways to sign. One might see a sign as inaccurate according to where you learned it from.

Good luck, Roman Legion. I hope that you can learn. ;)
