Not shows, but when I'm feeling down, I tend to curl up with Terry Pratchett. I love his sense of humour because it's a) so even handed and b) so benign. He doesn't laugh at humanity, he laughs with it.

I try not to watch too much tv, but I do have a few favourites. I like Family Guy rather a lot, but I also like Curb your enthusiasm, mostly because of the absurd awkward situations he gets himself into. I feel for Larry David... no one understands him...no one understands the rules dammit..

Flight of The Conchords
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Archer
those are my top shows, obviously there are more I watch

I've seen a couple episodes of Flight of the Conchords and it is amazing! I need to add that to my "to watch" list.

Lots of great shows mentioned already. Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Archer, The Simpsons, American Dad, Futurama, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Community, Two And A Half Men...all worth watching!

All the current sitcoms are trash but some older one's are still funny- Everybody Loves Raymond, Seinfeld, can't believe no one mentioned MASH yet
