too late, I'm not downloading 4 disc worth of games again.
I'm about 20 min into the game...the intro was cool but now I'm in some stupid school. It doesn't seem too interesting :

The skool is Balamb Garden. I love Balamb Garden! I always wished I was a student at that skool in real life. Imagine, all the students are fighters like you, even the pretty girls! I would be a Gunblade specialist

Maybe I'll have to come back and play this when I'm in the mood to actually pay attention to whats going on. Maybe sometime later this week.

It's because of the storyline and gameplay. Each has their own favorite series but for the most part FFVII said the majority of the fans favorite. It was the meaning of the story that made it instantly successful in 1997. If you were an old school back then, you'll understand why.
Game was too good that the producer even said that it would take too long to develop if they were to recreate Final Fantasy VII with the same level of graphical detail as you see in Final Fantasy XIII.

I would recommend Forza 3 if you liked racing games,And metro 2033 is a good game also
Should be able to get them cheapish off Amazon too.

If they redid it for PS3 that would probably make up my mind to buy one now.
I believe that is just a huge teasing demo to show off the hardware though.

( I guess it would probably take much time and work to remake it. Not to mention it may destroy the repute that the old FF7 managed to build.But who knows, may they change their opinion and actually do it

That is correct. Plus back then they were busy with FFXIII.

So you see it's really hard. However I wouldn't say that there won't be a remake in the future. Who knows.
