anyway i just looked out the window and its ****in snowing again and the wind is torrential

Well first of all the nostradamus prediction/mAYans only legit explanation in scientific terms is the polar shift.Polar shift takes thousand of years,it could have started now.The only thing We really couldn't justify with reason would be the ananaki coming back.That's the only thing we have to worry about in 2012 but as far as this mad world at the moment.Fear not,for we have resources.Our women are getting more lovely,quality of life is rising...at least in america.Alas,putting ourselves out there would be SO cliche in a third person's point of view.Who would even bother listening to us in all the chaos?I guess once you have a sturdy area to live in then i guess but otherwise no.Honestly,people don't think enough about the world around them,nor do they try to explain it.I've seen all of your views before and it won't i repeat won't lead to satisfying consequences.That type of stuff would get us killed.We're so looked down upon now imagine how badly it woud be for what everyone would see as a weakling in a world thats falling apart.Not to mention we're already in that type of situation when it comes to moralistic views.

Try having it literally be 70 degrees outside, like a summer day and the very next you've got three inches of snow and ice. That was our weather last weekend.

I definitely don't think the end of the world is coming soon, at least not any time in my lifetime. But I do wish it were true. I also definitely don't believe the world is going to end in 2012 but, for purely selfish reasons, I hope it does. I don't want to deal with this life for another 50+ years.

I completely agree. Humans have done nothing but destroy everything ever since we came into existence.
Predictions of the apocalypse have been around every time in history. There are certain people who always expect the end and will look a proper year to find it. So now they found 2012. If it will not work than they will find another year.
My greatest fears are more geopolitical. I believe that my neighbor country Russia is going to collapse and that will cause wars and calamities and will affect me, because I am very close to Russia. I also fear that US and NATO will loose war against Muslim radicals and they will take over Europe. Europe already has 18 million Muslims, I traveled around Europe and what I saw was shocking to me. Also the China is getting stronger. I believe in future the worlds power will belong to Asian countries and that will be end of the western world.
As for 2012. I have heard that it does not necessarily mean big calamity of doom, but change in system, the way people think, switch from materialism to spiritualism. That would be great.
But we will never know what exactly will happen.
