or more sexual partners. I was just reading how in recent polls, and in those particular polls, it shows that the people who voted on those particular polls have had more sex than the men who voted on those particular polls.
It was always thought that men have had more sex. Now it's the women, and for sure.
This only tells us though of the people who did vote on those particular polls. What of the people who didn't vote on those polls, in general or in other areas? This may be voluntary sampling. Can it also mean that a lot of people who didn't vote perhaps don't even have sex?
Do you really think this is only a "recent" thing, or do you think it's been happening all along?
Until the beginning of this "society" more men may have used their physical power over women to get what they wanted (sex, love). Also when I talk of physical power it does not necessarily mean by violent force. Also it can mean that we were more survivalist, ie men had to do a lot more physical work than women, they were usually stronger. That power had also been abused by many.
Nowadays it's a consumerist society and not as it was before, which also changes things. There are more laws about woman's rights, and stuff like that. Perhaps men are more submissive in this type of 'civilization'.
What do you think? I think it has opened my eyes.
