When people ask you the worst question ever...

One of my biggest pet peeves i guess you could call it
is when someone ask me What im up to like if im working or if im in school.
I already put myself though hell cause im not and i never know what to say
cause i know when i say im not they are gonna ask why and just is rally embarrassing,

So I was wondering when you are asked this question what do u say or do?

I say I do a bit of (what I do, freelancing - some translating or tutoring or writing or such) and that I'm working on eco projects (and that we still need to get funding)...

So if you do anything that is a big passion or hobby, just say that is what you do... Do you have any interesting interests where you could mention that?

Or maybe you could just say you work from home on the computer or something like that? (even if it's volunteer working or such?)

Well I make it a point to always be doing something constructive in life, even if I'm constantly nervous about it or totally not into it. I hate when people hold things over my head, so I do try to keep at least a little busy. In college I could cruise for a few years and I was seen as doing something useful, so that was okay. When I dropped out due to anxiety I worked for my dad for a while. Now I'm studying again which is going pretty decently. I mean I know I have to work on my independence so I'm always trying to make strides in that department, but it's also to get people off my back about "doing nothing".
