What if I never got into the high school of my dreams

Recently, I've been plagued by this thought. I barely got the required test scores to be accepted into the high school of my dreams and I wonder how I would feel if I was not accepted. I think I would feel terrible. I'm in college now and I've already graduated but the thought has been bothering me for days. Any suggestions on how to stop it?

Elementary school, middle school, high school - all these are less important then college. It doesn't matter how well you do in high school because ultimately employers look at college GPA and work experience. For instance, you could make straight As in high school and do poorly in college, but employers will want your college transcript not high school transcript. Employers also ask for college extracurriculars, not high school ones. In other words, people don't care what you did or how well you did in high school.
I learnt this the hard way. I aced high school but went downhill in college.

unless it was like a private school that contributed to preparing you for an IV league college, then high school might make a difference, but only in the respect that it set you up for a top notch college.

idonno... I have this recurring nightmare that i'm missing one class from highschool and I have to go back there and complete it :kickingmyself:... it sux.

you are wasting energy worrying about something...

1. completely trivial / irrelevant
2. in the past
3. that didn't even happen

find something to do.
