Unexplainable picture

Yesterdaymorning, I stood up and browsed SPW. I saw someone posting in the 'post your eye' picture thread, so I thought: "oh well, why not". So since my camera is with my dad's(it's actually his), I took my phone and took 2 shots of my eye. I viewed them and offcourse, what you expect from a phone camera, you get from a phone camera. So I deleted them and it loads the 3th picture. Which is this one:


It looks like an overlighted picture of a bunch of flowers with some other stuff I don't know. I have no idea I would ever make such a picture, which is impossible since we don't have that kind of flowers. So while wondering about this, I went checking the details. It said: made Friday 30th July, hmm .. I was with my dad then. He doesn't have flowers at all and we were building the whole day on the new car port he bought. Next thing in my mind: some one else made the picture. But who ? My dad doesn't know anything about my phone and if he did, he doesn't know the pin the phone asks for saving a picture. This is for any kind of action that's memory-related for safety. I don't got a brother or sister and we didn't had any visit, just the 2 off us. Options are running out .. Maybe some one wanted to be funny and send it to my phone through bluetooth or infrared. Just one problem, my bluetooth's always off and I don't got infrared. Then I can still think of one thing: some one broke in, cracked the phone pass and copied the picture on the phone. Then the last method I can make up is that the phone itself can create pictures without any action.. Which is more likely ? Or I could be crazy and see things there aren't, but how would you guys be able to see the above picture then ? I'm really confused about this. Can some one explain this in any way, I don't know what to think of this.

Note: You probably think this must be a sad joke, or it's photoshopped, but it isn't in any way.

Probably solar flares.

Could it be the side of a flower pot, vase, etc.? Maybe one near a lamp?

It looks to me like a picture of a lampshade with the light on, ya know, one of them decorated lamps some people have to read with. Or a blanket/curtain covering a window on a bright day outside.

If it isn't flowers, what is it then? Could be that someone else borrowed your phone and made it, or you pressed the button inadvertently? Nice ghost picture anyway .

We don't have any kind of flower pot, vase ..
@ Lea: The mobile was on the desk all day and we were just with the 2 of us at home outside all day. It was made 10:46(Belgium) and we started working outside around 10:30. We were outside, no one was in. So it's not even possible some one took it or I pressed the button without meaning to. It asks for a pass too for saving the picture. So ... now what ?

It´s really strange! Are you sure you have the time adjusted right? But even if it wasn´t for the time, it´s strange. And even if someone broke into your house during that time, he wouldn´t have the pin. Do you have a cat or some pet that might have stomped on it? . Well they would need the pin wouldn´t they?

And even if they did, you say anyway you don´t have this kind of flowers..

No flowers or pets at my dad's. There's absolutely no way it's taken with the phone, but the hell can it get there then ? I'm starting to believe we're surrounded with ghosts with electronics access. It would explain a lot.

You should go to some expert.. can it be the solar flares? In that case, why does it look like flowers.

What kind of expert ? You know some one online ? Yeah, this is most likely then. But indeed, why flowers and not .. i dno just stripes or something.

I know that there's at least one person on SPW who's an expert at digital photography..... Too bad that this thread has little exposure being on off topic. If it's in the main topic sections, then there may be someone who'll know what it is.

Apart from the ideas already given, I'll give a few possibilities that came to mind...

1) Painting or something digitally tampered with

Because the lighting and values don't make much sense (at least to me) otherwise, maybe the phone is just bad at taking pictures

2) Person's face or body or perhaps palm holding an object that is itself radiant

3) The inside of a person's pants

This is I feel likely because this will explain some of the unusual light values and stark contrasts. It also feels right since this seems like a picture that was accidentally taken. Edit: I meant a person's pockets... not pants! I was thinking that the pocket was part of the pants. Haha..

The quality of the picture is bad, but the camera of the phone in dark spots is even worse. It couldn't be accidentally taken, at least not if the date & time is right. And if it was, where could it have taken it ? If it's in my pocket it's dark, that's just a black picture. And I don't know any one which has that kind of strange plants, I can't know, I don't go to friends.::

If it's outdoors and the sun is up in high noon, then it's possible... Other than that, you should probably start asking the goblins living in your house. They may know a thing or two... (kidding haha)

There you have it then... Everyone knows that the turtle won the race against the rabbit. So they must have snuck a picture of themselves wearing flowers while you were not looking. This explains the strange lighting. It's the blur you get from the awesome speed of the turtles. Turtle power!

I'm just curious, what's that little thing on the side of the leafs? it looks like a clock to me.

Well, call me crazy but I see a leafdevil in the picture. It looks like a logo from something and yeah, I also see a clock in it. On the other side it looks like a devil fork, anyone sees this too ?

Looks like a rosebud to me. Maybe it is unexplainable, kinda like the black dog, (hellhound), in the wedding picture of that one couple that was on TV once. If you've seen that. It's kinda creepy.
