Honeydippedxo I certainly do agree with you. After years of feeling miserable with my SA & waiting for miracles to happen I have come to the conclusion that everything is in your own hands...for those of you who think that you can't do anything for yourselves & whom are waiting for things to get better by themselves it is time to act & practice "patience" ,things will never change in one night.
I'm sure that all of you don't feel the same everyday & that there are some days that you might relatively feel better or worse than other days.
Start paying attention at every little thing that you did /did not do before feeling better or worse write them down & prepare yourself two lists, one of things that you should avoid (it can even be being around certain people or eating certain things)& the other of things that you've observed which make you feel better. You might become surprised to find some things that you might have never thought to matter to be very effective on the way you feel.Put the lists into practice and start avoiding the big no-no's and doing more of the things that you find good for yourself.
Forcing yourself to go in society can do a lot of help in getting to know yourself better and preparing a more realistic list
even if it takes the price of making a fool of yourself to your own extent.
I know it can be hard to come out of a depressed state but sometimes you need to force yourself out of it and start listening to your mind instead of despairing feelings.
I strongly believe that SA can be a great teacher to all of us .
