Would you travel far to meet someone you love?

So I heard from my dad that my neighbor's son went to europe to meet a girl. The guy is like me, always online or playing games, never goes out barely has friends etc ( good chance that he has social anxiety)

Who here would do that or ever did that

I never met anyone online, even those that live in the big city next to mine ( montreal). I really doubt i'll go meet anyone that live in another country, but you never know If i'm truly in love maybe

( Lol I have a deja vu that i was writing this topic)

Not that its happened, but yeah I guess I would. Even if its for nothing more than meeting up with someone you get along really well with and taking in the sights and sounds of another country while your at it.

I wouldn't travel across the Atlantic or Pacific. Let me know if that worked for him out though, just curious.

Very true, you never know. If you both were in contact for a long time, really got close (as you can online, or even on the phone occasionally, too), then I see nothing wrong with that. I'm a believer in soul mate/s, that trip could be the best trip that you ever made. :)

If that person's feelings were mutual to mine and we agreed on it, I would probably go for it. I'd like to say that at least because I'm not very spontaneous. Sure I'd love to dream that I'd have the guts to get on a plane and go somewhere to meet a potential love but it's me so I have to get real. If only ::eek::

You never know...maybe if you want someone bad enough you would make yourself do it. People can do insane things when they're crazy about someone - things they would otherwise never consider doing. When I was 14, I wanted to sneak out to see this boy so bad that I almost considered jumping out of a third story window LOL, but then I settled with sneaking out the front door while my dad slept on the couch only feet away. I have never traveled alone (afraid of getting lost, missing planes, and potential weirdos), but I would do it without a second thought if I wanted someone badly enough.

That actually made me feel better ::p: I've only felt that way about one person and I would have done anything for him so I understand that. I'll need a second party member for this though, I'd be too afraid to travel alone, lol. Three stories?! I fell from five...I wouldn't advise it.
