Why do you date?

If I could feel any attraction to another human being, perhaps I would date - but I can't, so I don't bother.
Dating without any attraction would just be misleading for them and I'd feel bad about it in the end.
It's kind of pointless and just hurtful all around.
Also... the dating etiquette these days is very confusing to me - I don't understand young people/people my age/teenagers/anyone.
I can't even begin to understand 'casual' relationships and I assume if I were to date a person, they would immediately want to jump into bed and I am far from willing to do anything like that without a completely solid relationship with trust and faithfulness.
Also, I can't leave my room.
So dating is out of the question... forever, probably.

1. It can be awkward, stressful, and scary. As someone with SA, I have to face fearful things If I ever hope to overcome them.
2. I really want to find some girl I'm incredibly attracted to both physically and emotionally. I've never had that before. I've never had a girlfriend at all (I have had opportunities though).
I'm confined to online dating sites right now though. I'm not yet able to approach women in person, but I feel as though I'm getting close.
