Where can I get therapy/CBT?

Hi I feel I'm in a bit of a rut at the moment. I've tried helping myself but it's got to the point where I need someone else to help me.

In my area, there seems to be very little help or hope. I went to the GP, they got me in contact with a group named iTalk, I had to wait 2 weeks for the initial phone call, I told them my situation and they kept asking me if I was prone to self harm or if I thought of suicide, which I don't. They said they'd call again in the next week, but it was two weeks. They said they'd call again to arrange some face-to-face help, but that was the last I heard from them.
I've searched for some psycho-therapists in my area, but they are expensive and quite a distance from where I live.
I even contacted this drama group who helped out people with learning difficulties. I asked if they could help me 'project my voice and help improve my confidence,' I even said I had money to pay for it, but again they promised to help me find someone, but nothing happened.

My brain is a complete nightmare. My thoughts are getting more manic and crazy by the day, but it feels like there is nothing out there to help me.
