I am from Riga, Latvia. Its located in Eastern Europe at the coast of Baltic Sea between Poland and Russia. Riga is biggest city in Baltic Region. We have bad weather, only three months of summer and other months filled with snow and rain. Right now its worse because its raining like hell in here. Only few days ago it was hot. Whether is always changing here. We have two main nationalities- Latvians and Russians. We both secretly hate each other but we are not wanting civil war.

Latvia is a green country with forests big fields low hills and large rivers. Riga old city is beautiful piece of medieval art.

Despite the notable flaws of Latvia such as failed economics, corrupt arrogant politicians and noisy Russians I am proud of my country and like it. Sorry for ranting this always happens when I write to foreigners about my place.
