when you was a kid

I wanted to be a lawyer, a singer, and Miss America.

But: I lost interest in being a lawyer, my phobia gets in the way of singing, and must I torture myself with reasons why I'm not suited to be a Pageant Winner?

I always wanted to be a scientist, for as long as I can remember. I still do, more specifically I want to be an Astrophysicist. I also want to be a Sci-Fi author, which at this point in my life seems more realistic.

In Kindergarten, I said I wanted to be a nurse, but I think maybe that was because that was the only profession I could think of. I have absolutely no interest in the medical profession now.

After that, I think I had a period where I thought about becoming a lawyer (my mom used to have us watching Matlock ::p:), but once I grew out of that I never came up with anything specific. I think I just figured I would sort it out in college. Now no one wants to hire me to do what I studied to do- two degrees, a ton of debt, and working part time crap jobs. I wish I were a kid again.
