Well this probably isn't the manliest thing to say, but I've got a thing for chick flicks.
Whenever I am feeling a little depressed, or down I like nothing better than to throw on a chick flick, for some reason it helps to make me feel better. I think it offers me a little escapism - I don't know it's hard to describe.
Of course what will happen when I watch them, is since I'm so sensitive and emotional, I'm guaranteed to break down and shed a number of tears.
Last one I've seen recently is How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, and I enjoyed that one enough, don't think I cried during that one, though.
Love Actually would have to be one my personal favourites. It had me bawling in certain scenes.
So what about you others? What sort of movies do you love throwing in, to try and perk you up a bit?
P.S. Can somebody recommend a few decent chick flicks? I've been meaning to watch the notebook, must do that soon.
