What good about me ?

I came to a point in my life where I would like to know what women would find attractive about me so then I would be able to say this is why women like me. I have this feeling in me that their something good about me but the reason why I sink at finding a date is because I don`t know what women would find attractive about me. How am I suppose to point out to a girl my good qualities when I don`t know what they are. Is there any way I could find out what women would find attractive about me so I could point them out to her.

I believe everyone has something that attractive about him or her they just need to know what it is to point it out. Is there away you can find out what that is.

What's attractive to some might not be attractive to others, so there's not a particular thing you have to point out to everyone you meet. You just have to keep meeting people and, eventually, you will find someone who likes you.

And more importantly... don't pretend to be something you aren't.

pretending is what I feel I have to do to get someone to like me. But your right I should not have to pretend. This crazy question come from me thinking about if I should try online dating or not. I run across this problem when I had to write something about me on my dating profile page I just quite and back out of sign up. because I started to think so far I made a facebook profile, a profile on here and a myspace profile and all of them end up the same way zero attention. I just don`t won`t to rush and make a dating profile page and get the samething. I need to find some feed up on what good about me first.:kickingmyself::kickingmyself::applause:

Agreed. How long can you keep up a facade? A year? Two years? Fifty? As cliche as it is, be yourself and when you find someone that does like you, you know it's for you and not a surrogate personality.

Bo, we can't really tell you what's good about you. We don't know you. I'm sure you can think of a few things: you're good at art, you're a good listener, you like to go for walks, you're selfless, you have a big heart...those are just examples.

How do you know about me MikeyC I good at art I am just getting into Sculpting I love it because my dream is to make toys for kids. I do love going for walks that true about me too, I like to go on trails at the park. The thing is I think I tryed to point this out about me before and women just thought I was boring for saying this Maybe a toy maker not exciting to women or maybe it was the way I pointed it out that was boring I don`t know I, wish I did know so if there was girls out there who would like a Toy maker or a sculpter or someone who just like to take walks I would know about them.:question::kickingmyself:

I don't know anything about you; they were merely examples.

My job is boring and I have very couple-unfriendly hobbies, but girls have still liked me in the past. Your personality makes a massive difference.

Thank you, I still wish I knew more on what women idea of the perfact man is just want to know if I would relate to any of them things or not. My personality is am shy and I DON`T won`t to hurt anybody feelings. Is that somthing women would like or not ? or well that just tell them I weak they should move on.

its not all on appearance, its your personality, if you are friendly chatty and give girls compliments and treat her like a princess you can't go wrong. Its absolutely rubbish magazines tell you that girls like bad boys and douches...I stay away from anyone who is mean to me...why would I want to date someone who mean?....I think the way for online dating to work is to make a positive site, with your hobbies and interests and your personality and be yourself. I was on an internet dating site and got lots of people commenting to me saying I was ugly and I was big but I was truthful and waited for the right guys to come along that seemed to take an interest in me, you have to be patient and make an effort, most of the people you talk to online will talk to you for months then suddlenly just disappear so you just have to wait for the right girl and you will know. just be yourself! have fun with it! and don't take it personal if someone doesn't message you back or doesn't seem to take an interest in you, there are plenty of girls online waiting for the right guy hope this helps!

I think the only difference being shy will make for you is that it'll be harder for you to meet women in the first place. Yes, some women like macho strong men but that's just one sort of woman with a certain preference. There is no perfect man, just personal preference, same way there's no perfect woman. As I say, your only true obstacle is meeting women in the first place

There's no definitive answer to this. Every woman will have a different idea of the perfect man, just as every man will have different opinions of the perfect woman.

Some girls don't like being treated like a princess, in my experience. More like equals.
