Well... I would assume that practice would be about the only thing to make you better at something.
haha

In the past year, I've gotten much better at distance running.
I went from running less than 1k to running 12k; and I'd go longer but it's gotten so cold out that running season is probably over until spring.

I've gotten better at being near people- there's been an improvement in the past 2 years; but that doesn't mean I'm good at it yet.

this is the log i posted for the last day...
- teaching myself rigging, which is hard. i rigged a 3d ant, a 3d person

- *(in the past few months)*walking up hills for excercise instead of running, i realized hills are more gentle and less exhausting.
-keeping a "successes/imrovements" log
-i weeded my backyard it really needed it bad
-i learned more to be myself and just say whats in my mind.

improvements i need to make
-- still trying to open up to people -- or finding the right time that is the tricky part
- still distancing myself automatically
- feel wierd calling friends i made on the phone, i feel almost intrusive.
- neglecting my facebook and iwig out when ppl contact
- cute guy i adore on facebook ignored a comment i made on his wall THANK YOU GOD

- i did 25 crunches today um f*ck him >>

running is a big deal don't downplay your running. my calves get all tight and hurty. i cannot run at all ::(:
like just love what you do, you cant do anything wrong if you're trying you can't.

how do you mean getting better being around people?
like just being relaxed?

Ohh... well, I mean, I don't get a paralyzing panic attack with heart palpitations and vomiting whenever I'm around people.
Only sometimes.
Still panic frequently-- just more minor than the full blown freakouts I used to have.

sigh sorry this thread is condescending i thought it might make some feel better if they listed what they did well.

Oh, no-- you're right.
I'm improving at least, and that's good.

I'm sure more people will have more positive things to add as well.

Improvements I've made:
- Became more sociable
- Became slightly more positive
- Not so lazy anymore
- Lost some weight - got more toned
- Don't spend as much time on the computer
- Got through my first interview/job without much emotional struggle

Improvements I need to make:
- Stop being so negative
- Stop ranting so much
- Tone down the sarcasm
- Try not to hate/get angry with people so much/so easily
- Learn to trust others more
- Learn to appreciate myself more
And the list goes on...
