There was a special on tv back in the early nineties when i was a kid, i had a best friend from america and him and his family were rich, they brought over the first nintendo and were a very patriotic bunch ..
we'd stay up and listen to the ramones, guns n roses, nirvana, janes addiction, b52's back when they were popular ...
the ramones have that cartoon band thing going on like KISS and the misfits ..
but it was very raw and exciting punk, and it brings back memories of the early nineties and my friend who eventually returned to the states in 1995 ...
so whenever i hear those bands it really turns up the nostalgia of those really fun years, i freaking loved the 90's musically and i realy miss those days even though the ramones are technically 70's/80's. ..
favourite songs : rock n roll radio, wanna be sedated, kkk took my baby away, touring ...
now i'm more into power pop/punk: xtc, the replacements, early rem, joy division/new order ...

The Ramones are awesome. I just watched a documentary about them the other day called End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones, you should check it out.
