The bar/pub

I always have HUGE trouble communicating in the bar. I have to scream at the top of my longues to be heard over all the sound and music, and even then I have to repeat myself. I also often can't follow other conversations so I'm just sipping my beer and staring across the room.

Also for some reason in bars where its really crowded I lose my motoric and become self concious and spastic. Always some people who give me bad looks or think I'm some kinda freaking weirdo.

Yeah, I don't really like going there. I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb.

The bar isn't the best place to have decent conversations. And yeah, to follow the conversation too can be dauting.

I wonder why other people are better able to chime in.I might be too blurred out by brainfog and selfconciousness, or that I'm simply deaf or something.

I must say, most of the times I go to bars (which isn't often) I don't really go with people I know very well. I often meet new people (friends of acquintances) and give off awkward first impressions. I do like quieter bars when you can just sit at the bar and have a conversation. I don't like overcrowded places.
