Tempting Urges

After graduation from high school. One of my friends gave me this girl myspace page url (although its on private, I can still see her picture) I was infatuated with her, and i'm sure she had a thing for me also :D. I havn't checked her page in for a while, because i fear it might bring old feelings back and won't help me move on. But I have this urge to check, because when i see her face; something inside me lights up. But is this right?

I am not sure of the entire circumstance but because you called it a regret and something you need to move on from, it sounds like you should try and keep strong and not do it.

Maybe, try talk to someone else.

Damit, your right Kat. Regrets are regrets for a reason, i shall hold back my temptation. :\
Although I am a man, so who knows :p

Well there’s many mysteries to the inner workings of a guys mind it’s not easy but most temptations can be subsided with distraction. You can do it!:D

This is failed, i lost to myself ...

Yeah, that can happen but it's not over just got to stick to the advice.

You will get there. I think I'd be tempted like that and I have in the past but you meet someone new and it goes away. You realize if it was meant to be it would of happened. It may not seem like it but it does get better.

And at least you have learnt certain things from this experience and it will hopefully make you smarter for the next girl you like.

Wait, you saw her picture, became attracted to her, and had a feeling she was into you as well without actually talking to her once?

I'm confused.

No we had classes together in high school, we manage to trade words with each other, but our schedule didn't meet up so i ended up having to change classes. We've met on occassions in the hall, dances, gazing each other eyes. There was a moment where she was handing my jacket to me at a dance, and she was holding it tight! I felt like she wanted to say something so bad, but i had a panic attack. Then there was graduation, coincidently she was "next" to me when we were coming down the stairs. So yea, i was sure she had a thing for me.

It was only after graduation that i have gotten her myspace page though :\

Add her as a freind, say "I saw you one blah blahs page" (your mates page), say "hey, hows tricks, not seen you in ages, lets catch up, really good to see ya again"...etc

No reply.....ahh sack it, move on
Reply....well hello, ding dong!

Remus, that might work if i had a myspace page :\

I've had a similar experience... didn't work out well. People change. Most people move on. But hey... doesn't mean you can't be friends. (My own experience is a painful one though.)

As long as you can remain as rational as possible...actually I should not say that since well, infautuation is far from it. However it is not wrong to feel this way. Your life shall progress and this is merely one of those steps. I would suggest taking a look, chatting with her a bit. See if what you believe is reality. If so, then all the more to you my friend.

Well, just get in touch with her. Don't give it away at all, just say you want to catch up. Is her e-mail address viewable on her page at all? If not, just quickly get a MySpace page and get in touch with her, then see how it goes from there.
