Okay, for example, let's suppose someone with agoraphobia says that I am being a whiney baby and making a huge deal out of nothing because I can't take criticism, and that I should just get a grip. This is a direct attack on my social anxiety, and demeans my person by insinuating that my problem with rejection isn't real, and that I a have a personality flaw, attitude problem, or some other deficiency which is behind it.
Could I respond to that person in such a fashion: "Well perhaps your agoraphobia isn't a big deal and you are just a whiney baby who really shouldn't be trolling on this website".
I honestly don't see the difference. What do you think? Would that be going over the line. Its an honest opinion and really, Its not going to hurt as much as what they did to me.
