Stupid Question...

BUT when you are in the grips of Anxiety, Do You Feel your Mind Is Going 100 Mph, Start really panicing, Getting All Paranoid And Irrational??.

My mind just stops completely. There's a guy I work with who occasionally looks like he's panicking in the "mind is racing" kinda way - his eyes get really wide and he stares at me (or whoever's around) vacantly like he's either about to go on a killing rampage or he's about to be killed...sometimes his mouth gapes open. My friend thinks he just does it to mess with people but IDK, it scares me sometimes. I always feel compelled to ask him if he's ok and that he looks extremely nervous and then he just brushes it off like it never happened. He has ADHD so IDK if that's a side effect or what.

Yes quite often. It races sometimes with thoughts but also just the racing sensation without any thoughts at all. Like a runaway train that can't be stopped.

Sounds familiar. What's worse is I tend to put myself in situations which I know will cause this reaction... usually through inaction or ignoring upcoming things.:rolleyes:
