Solution to social anxiety

I can say I share similar view, since the heart is the essence. Not your physical heart, but the heart of your Self, of your being. Some spiritual teachings talk about this.

I LOVE that idea of the heart having it's own form of intelligence......it makes sense, cause you see it in life all the time....especially in love....."love is blind" etc....people fall in love with the most unlikely people all the time!.....so the idea of following your heart when your mind is screaming for you to go the other way, well, maybe I've seen too many movies, but I really like that idea. Sometimes you just KNOW something is true, even though you can't explain it, you just feel it.

But I'm not sure that would be my whole solution to the problem. I think it could help, but I definitely wouldn't wanna turn my brain off either. There can be huge benefits to sitting down and rationally and logically figuring out a problem and coming to new revelations. I think it's probably a bit of both.

I don't get this. Though there is supposedly according to biology a "gut brain" aka the enteric nervous system. Just do a search on it and you can probably find something.

I dont know how to put it into practice though it all seems to be too intangible or mystic. All I know is how I feel when I do or don't do a certain thing... and pain is just one feeling. we can't just think Only with the 'feelings' you have, that's why we have the brain. we analyze, and we feel, we can't just follow one sense. though .. there are different feelings we might perceive.. but keep in mind as well that one's perception is pretty much usually just one's perception of their own perception whch may also be incomplete... especially in these days perhaps.

basically it's just pleasure and pain feelings... but are there really different variations of these 2 to make up certain kinds of thoughts? Do we all share the same feelings or thoughts? Perhaps not...
