I think it's like asking a mathematician to learn to paint. When will this pigeon-holing stop?

I ain't a softeee. I have more of a Jason Bourne outlook

This is my next step - the first one being this website.

I get any excuses from employers and their underdogs - recruiters - to prevent me from having a job. Criticism wears thin very quickly. After 10 years into London every day, by train, as there's no parking in the City, and the Congestion Zone... then I get told I live too far away for an upcoming new job in Croydon, with 8 years of experience of what they need.

Being told today that I don't have the soft skills (just because I shout at recruiters) gets me onto research for that topic. Already, my translation of the meaning is: 'being nice'. That's what my old dear told me to do. I might be a mogul in the office if I jumped up from my desk to hold the door open for everyone, and make fruit teas for everyone.

Excellent Interpersonal Relationship Skills ::(:

It's taken me all these years to finally address my SA; maybe I'm seeing the light. I have to be lovely, if I want some £€$. It'd be a lot more effort than having a go at a big bungee jump

welcome to the human race

Homo sapiens is a very social animal

you rarely find them wandering alone in the wilderness

instead, they tend to gather together in "communities"

over 32 million of them live in the city of Tokyo alone

most humans LIKE to be around other humans, and they are suspicious of those that don't

in order to be a successful member of a human community, it's necessary to play nice and get along with the other humans

those humans who don't make an effort to form positive bonds with others often face ostracization or denial of favors from their peers

the humans who are better at observing social constructs, communicating positively with others, forming emotional relationships (even superficial ones), or putting others around them at ease will often find themselves rewarded with increased financial rewards, a wider selection of potential mates, and even greater status in the community

good luck during your stay

and have fun!
