I thought the first episode was pretty good. I haven't read the comic books, but I've always been fond of zombies. YouTube's screencap looks like it should go with one of his lines from Love Actually. "It's a self-preservation thing."

And although I could sympathize with the guy who couldn't shoot his zombified wife, I couldn't empathize with him at all. I'd kill my own mother without hesitation if she was a zombie. But I'd do it Peter Jackson style, with a lawnmower. ;)

(For those who've never seen Dead Alive, just search YouTube for "dead alive lawnmower" to see what I'm referring to. Though amusing, it's probably a bit too much to link to the video here.)

A fireman's axe, overt racism, and rubber gloves. Oh, and what looked like an M67 hand grenade, a hacksaw, and a passing shower.

Some of you almost don't know what you're missing....
