Guys how do you deal with your sexual frustration if you don't have a girlfriend. I am lonely and it seems like I'll never have sex again. I watch porn to repalce dating/girlfriend. But the problem is women don't understand. Especially if they can get two guys interested in them everyday. Jesushasomeoneforme Amen

I had a masturbation addiction since around seventh grade. I masturbated to porn in binge fashion every night, often through bleeding. I had little or no human contact throughout this period. Weirdly enough, when I get girlfriends, I stop masturbating, even if we aren't sexually active. I don't know.

I think the reason why you're having trouble getting/maintaining a relationship with a girlfriend is because your perception of how women think is quite stereotypical. And a quite negative stereotype at that. Masturbation will not replace a girlfriend/partner. It might get you off, but having a relationship goes deeper then just sex.

Any sexual frustration of mine is far outweighed by loneliness. As much as I might want a woman to ravish, I'd much prefer one that I could fall asleep and wake up next to.

And while the former is easily remedied, the latter is much more resistant. Since I don't get out much (more like not at all) my only female interaction consists of reading and replying to threads on this site. So it's kind of like looking for a girlfriend at a gay pride rally (i.e. nigh hopeless).

I'm the last person you'd ever want to give you dating advice, but having a positive attitude about it can only help.

Probably not thinking about it as much is the only thing that might help in you particular situation. So that would mean cutting back on watching or reading things that talk about sex a lot. But like I said earlier, if you're a Christian, going to a singles group in church is your best bet. Yeah it'll be nerve wracking and scary but that'll solve your loneliness problem if you can build friendships. But don't expect to get any sex before marriage there though lol.

It is and it isn't. Anyone on the street would tell you you shouldn't be doing it, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Apparently it's something to do with a guy called Onan and he was commanded not to waste his "seed", but he did, so onanism or masturbation was/is considered sinful by the church.

I'm a Catholic - I do it, my partner (female) does it and we're getting married soon! I think its part of a healthy relationship and clear mind....of course I'd never admit to it to anyone I knew!!!!! Like Billy Connolly said, "I rather cut my hand off!"
