Selling my drionic

Keep in mind everyone that the Drionic can be modified to accept 2 trays. If you purchase one, modify it. It may also be modified to accept standard 9 volt batteries. With these simple modifications you can have a decent ionto machine.

Oops I meant I got an Idromed PS. It's quite fantastic and completely worth the money. I use it on my hands and feet combined at 20ma in 15 minute sessions for about 3-4 straight days and it keeps my palms about 90% dry for about a week to a week and a half before I feel the need to use it again. Not to drive away potential bidders but if you can, you should definitely get one of the pulsed current machines over a drionic :)

Wow, did you get those results immediately after using the drionic or did you go cold turkey for awhile? The reason why I ask is because I am doing ionto for the first time ever with the Idromed 5 PS, doing 15 MA for my hands and 25 MA for my feet at 15 mins each like the booklet suggests. Been 8 days now and if anything I think the sweating might have gotten worse over that time but I've read everywhere to give it a minimum 3 weeks.. What is your secret to success??

The booklet says not to exceed 15 MA for hands but I read that you do your hands at 20 MA? Is that safe? Do they burn? Thanks!!

husky337: I am also a ionto user for more than 6 months, and my sweating also got worse after the first week of usage. Then gradually patches of my hands and feet got free of sweat and then after about one more week my sweating was under control. Don't worry!

I use 20ma with my hands in one tray and my feet in the other, so it doesn't hurt as much as if you were only doing hands. In the beginning I used it everyday for about 2 weeks before I saw any real results. Results came in gradually towards the end of the second week. As for the drionic, I couldn't crank it up high enough for it to do very much for me so I gave up on it pretty quickly and got an Idromed PS probably about a month later. Keep it up for a couple more weeks and I'm sure you'll see results.

Thanks for the input fellas really does actually mean something to me. Yeah I am keeping my fingers crossed that the ionto will work out for me, just really hard to believe that this thing I am doing now that is making me sweat even more will lead to dry hands. I pray that I will at one point me able to have dry hands 24 hours a day whether I am nervous, holding someones hand, rubbing my hands together, touching lotion, etc. Sabrexx do you think it is more effective to do the 20 MA combined for 15 mins or do 15 MA hands and then 25 MA feet for 15 mins?

Do you guys also use cold or warm water? What are the water levels reaching on your hands?

I treat hands and feet seperately as I use a higher voltage setting for feet (Hidrex is set using voltage). The skin of the feet is thicker, hence a higher setting is recommended.

I use a low water level, just below my finger nails. The same amount of water is used when treating feet. It is the palms and soles that is my problem, hence no more water is required.

Most of the time I use warm water, but I don't think it matters really.

And yes, I can now use lotion, hold and shake hands, play videogames, exercise and get nervous without my hands and feet sweating. Hopefully you are just a few weeks away from that as well.

I would say treating hands and feet individually is more effective than the combining both at once. The combined method leads to less dryness but is easier for me to keep up. I used to only treat my hands alone with one hand in each tray (I forgot what setting I used) and it worked amazingly well. My hands were so dry they actually started cracking. I use the combined method now as a compromise because it is easier to maintain the regimin.

The water level that I use is around my nails.

I have success treating one hand, one foot alternating the current at 15 minutes. I like to keep a water level that treats the entire hand both front and about 3/4 back. as for my feet, the water covers my entire toes since sweat pores out on the sides as well as the top. This has been my primary treatment method for 6 years.

I get phantom sweating, it's the most bizarre feeling! It feels like my hands should be dripping wet but they are only slightly clammy, a huge improvement. Still trying to get 100% dry though.

Phantom sweating goes on for about several months or so, maybe less, but will go away.

If you stop your routine, you'll pay the price of having start again. Sometimes a break in routine causes havoc on your fingertips, yet don't despair, it can take 2-3 months to get the fingertips back under control. Six years worth of ionto has taught me much. It's all about experimentation and finding what the best routine is for YOU. I adjust my treatments in accordance to the the seasons. Dom you best to keep your routine consistent.

One thing that I do that I find important to write down all my treatments in a notebook. I made a chart of every single treatment from day one. This way I can see and refer back to what I have tried and succeeded or treatments that did not work as well. It comes in very handy.

Yes, I have achieved 100% hand dryness, but not necessarily all the time. Complete dryness can come in blocks of time, but there again it can depend on the season. Quality of the water can alter your results and your routine.

Hey Sprawling, could you elaborate on your findings from season to season? Also, how often do you do your maintenance treatments? I'm starting to cut back to 30 minute treatments every other day, hopefully I can eventually get to once a week treatments.

Hey Sprawling, could you elaborate on your findings from season to season? Also, how often do you do your maintenance treatments? I'm starting to cut back to 30 minute treatments every other day, hopefully I can eventually get to once a week treatments.

During the summer months in Utah I do my treatments for a total of one hour every 6-7 days. During the cooler months maintenance treatments will be every 9-10 days. In Utah I'll achieve 95-100% dryness.

When I'm in Nevada, maintenance treatments will be every 5 days during the warm months and and every 7days during the cooler months. The water in Las Vegas does not work at all for ionto treatments. I must collect rainwater and mix it with water I bring from Utah. During the warmer months I'll only achieve 80% dryness, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Water, seasons, climate, and location seem to affect how ionto treatments work. There is no sure plan for everyone. My advice is if ionto is not working well for you, try adding rainwater to your mixture.
