SA depends on time of day...

Well, for me it seems to be better early in the morning than afternoon. Does this seem to be the case for others here as well ?, where you find that how bad your SA will be is determined by morning vs afternoon or evening.

If I'm still up at 4-5 am, my anxiety is very reduced from sleep deprivation. If I somehow manage to wake up around 4-5 am, i'm again very at ease...Something about the sunrise and the neglected streets at that time. I love going for walks when the sun is rising. Also if i'm out around midnight i'm more likely to be comfortable. The worst is the afternoons when everybody is out on the streets, and the phone is ringing, etcetc

My SA is not as bad early in the morning before the day gets crazy and loud. If I felt like it, I would go for a nice walk everyday around that time (between 6:00 am, or whenever the sunrise - I don't know because I'm sleep when the sunrise.

Another time is late at night when it's quiet and people in our neighborhood don't make noise or be out and about. I can even go outside for a while without bumping into people.

my SA is always worst when the sun is up and people are out and about. when its dark (early morning, late night) and quiet with no people around my anxiety is quite mild or sometimes even non-existent(depending on how sleep deprived i am). so yes, i agree that SA can get better or worse depending on time of day.

No, but I do tend to be much less anxious overall at night than I am during the day. There are less people, less noise, & there is much less of a chance of someone coming over or calling or of me having to go somewhere at night. So, I always feel better at night.

These responses are interesting! My anxiety multiplies tenfold with sleep deprivation. It's also worse in the morning. Though I'm sleepier, it feels like I haven't had much time to steel myself for the day. I'd say I'm at my best in the evening...perhaps knowing the day is winding down. If I must do something that makes me nervous it's better at night.

My anxiety is worse during daytime...well anytime that the sun is still visible. I feel most vulnerable. I'm slightly better and do go out to do chores early morning weekend (when most people are sleeping in and less traffic), weekday nights (weekend nights are filled with too many people partying, dining out, etc) or during cloudy/rainy weather (which I adore). That's why it is important for me to always check the weather and traffic conditions everyday...heheh.

My anxiety is throughout morning and afternoon, but once the sun is down, loneliness kicks in during the night and I regret not going out and doing something, etc. I guess I'm more of a night person and I'd rather go out when basically, no one else is up XD
