So i was thinking of sharing a well devised mixtape of ambient relaxing music that i often use after a tough day at the anxiety office, you'll mainly find these songs in the alternative section of your music shops, some as a pre-order and hard to find ...

i like to think of myself as an expert in the field of eno-ish soundscapes ..

ive shortened it for the purpose of getting out into the ether as quick as i can today, but i'll share a fuller compilation in due course ..

i've named it "relaxing vibestation volume 1" ...

[1] boards of canada - peacock tail (campfire headcase 02)
[2] boards of canada - kaini industries (music has the right to children 9
[3] boards of canada - open the light (music has the right to children 9
[4] aphex twin - rhubarb (ambient works 1994)
[5] aphex twin - parellel stripes (ambient works 1994)
[6] blur - optigan 1 (13)
[7] gurro - peter sellers (gurro ep 03)
[8] sigur ros - oslen oslen (9argutis byrjen)
[9] manic street preachers - ocean spray [kinobe ambient remix] (2000)

i find that most traditional classical isn't that relaxing as it often proceeds and progresses to intense arpeggios that makes it in your face and will more likely keep you awake ..

if you enjoyed this package i'll post more in the coming weeks, hope you like it ...

these songs are void of a beat and are based more on warm, breezy soothing sythesizer grooves that could send any insomniac into a state of blessed euphoria, it could be a blueprint for musical therapy, ok perhaps thats a stretch but give it a go

hope it helps your feel calmer and more relaxed in your living environments eh ..

Ghosts I-IV, by Nine Inch Nails

It's a beautiful, 36 song instrumental.

I play it when I'm writing or just trying to relax.

I recommend "Sounds of the Earth: Humpback Whales." lol

Something about whales singing is soothing haha :D

My favorite mellow music comes from the guitar of Buckethead. A real diamond in the rough, Colma, Electric Tears and Population Override (in that order) are his best work in my opinion.
