Years ago I wanted a game like this to be made. For a few dollars more is my favourite film ever. Now someone has made it at last! I'll probably wait for it to go down in price first though.

Yeah always worth waiting for the price to go down,a few months down the road it will be 25 quid instead of 50!

I doubt the price will drop that fast, you might be able to get a pre-owned one for 50$ if you wait it out. It is after all a game made by the people who made GTA right?

I don't know,over here in the Uk most games price drop pretty fast,it's easy to get games for 30 pounds a few months after the initial release, especially off places like Amazon ect They are only 50 pounds here to begin with,sometimes 40.

But yup it's made by Rockstar

No doubt they'll be referencing all the great western films, I wouldn't be surprised if they put a Man with No Name character in there

I'm going to get it when theres a good offer on. There's been a lot of adverts on tv for it in the last few days and it looks really good. The map looks a good size as well.

I had to google that >.> I use to hate westerns as a kid so I refused to watch any of them...and they are the reason we have the famous Wilheilm scream

Hollywood producers must have this inside joke where they put at least one scream like that into every film.

But as for references,without a doubt :) Most games have so many references or easter egg's as they are called.

I was playing Stalker again the other day and found a dead guy called Gordan Freeman (from half life) In a secret area.Nuke Nukem 3d even had a dead marine from Doom :D

Once upon a time in the west is widely regarded to be one of the best westerns ever, some say one of the best films ever, I personally think it dragged on a bit too much but still a great film.

philly2bits:I think they will have some music that's definitely in the same vein as those pieces but I don't think they'll use the actual tunes for legal reasons.

I brought it the day it came out on the ps3 this game is awesome. It gave me faith in rockstar again cause gta 4 was a huge dissapointment for me

They are both amazing games!I did not like the first Assassin's Creed,but number two is really a good game.However Red Dead Redemption is awesome too.

I don't think you can go wrong buying either of them,maybe get AC2 as it is cheaper and by the time you have finished that RDR might be cheaper.Though RDR has some really good online modes and is a massive game.

If you put a gun to my head and told me to pick only one I would say RDR.
