My sister and I went to Chicago in October and I finally got to go to the Art Institute of Chicago. It was amazing! They have some very popular works of art.

A Sunday on La Grande Jatte - Georges Seurat

The Bedroom - Vincent van Gogh

At the Moulin Rouge - Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec

They also have works by Monet, Cezanne, Renoir, Manet, El Greco, Gauguin, Picasso, Rodin, and many others. If you ever have a chance to go to the Institute, do it! Of course, this just may be the art nerd inside me oozing out.

I kind of have a thing for contemporary art... Chirsto and Jeanne-Claude are my favorite (I got to meet Christo once and I got a hug! I was so excited!) Anyway, The Umbrellas by Christo and Jeanne-Claude:

That's a good one. When you look at the whole triptych, there is SO much going on. Plus his name is awesome.

Did a search .. the third is by Eric Lacombe
