Please i need ispiration.

Where can I find stories of people who use to have social phobia / anxiety and are now successful. Websites? Or perhaps you have a story?

Hey Darryl,

I read your " story" and found myself relieve to see that some people are actively doing something about their situation. I'm not the type to "complain" or vocalize my struggles with social anxiety. I have taken responsibility for my condition and actively try to live and move on with my fears. Could you tell me some of the steps that you take to live your life to the fullest? And how you manage to desensitize your "fears"?

See ya.

Well, this website is all about people who deal with social anxiety, so you can read posts about social anxiety alot ;)

But if you are looking to real ''stories'' you should go to bol.com or amazon.co.uk or another site to buy a book i think.
What you must think of me by emily ford is one of my favourites :)
You could also download e-books about anxiety ;)
Some of them are really helpful, too.

and i think inspiring books like ''the power of now'' are really interesting, i think im gonna buy it.. And you could browse around books about confidence, and social skills.. those things are related to the things with social anxiety...

Good luck to you finding a good story DeMarco

Btw are you dutch? Marco is a very common name in the netherlands

Hi DeMarco,

I have been thinking about this for a few days now....
At the moment what ever I say won't give you happiness apart from having someone care enough about your well being to comment.

Happiness comes by growing... Becoming bigger than the disorder- which is a great thing, it's your reward.

Remebering with success the disorder fights back.

The best advice I could give you, is for you to tell your day or explain a problem you had in a given day.

Solve problems that arise, you need direction that can come by answers.

So ask questions and please voice your complaints and struggles these are what we need to hear, this is where your answers come from.

Sure sometimes you won't get answers right away, but sometimes waiting for an answer is enough for you to work it out.

Regards Darryl
