How well do you know her? I agree with what Twig says, in that whether it's weird or not depends entirely on the nature of your relationship with her.

It depends. In my opinion, if you invite her, you're basically admitting to her that you have a crush on her (unless, she is a really, really good friend?)

Not saying its a good OR a bad idea... just... she is very likely to wonder if you have intimate feelings for her, as that's a very special invitation.

I'd just talk about the wedding and how much I dreaded going to it. The first girl who said "who are you going with?" would get the invite. If it's her, then awesome. If not, she'll be intrigued.
