ohh such harsh words...I know, I'm a dork.
well, I need to let off a little steam -
SIL is on spring break - she's home for a week. I thought I'd get a break from the kids. No offense, I love them, but I NEED a break too. I'm afraid I'll be dragged outta here in a straight jacket unless I get a break. Friday, I cried in the shower - that is with my niece crying, and nephew spazzing out. I just hit 'that point'.
Well, SIL came to me and asked if I could get up with the kids this week so she can sleep in and get a shower (mind you, I ALWAYS have the kids when I get my shower yet somehow I manage)
I passive-aggressively sighed, rubbed my forehead and said ok. She then goes, 'well it'll be just for a couple hours so I can sleep a little and get a shower' then I'll take them.
I had watched the kids super late on Friday - I put them to bed as a matter of fact. They just had a weekend alone at a hotel/spa for their anniversary.
The didn't even change 6 month old's clothes til this afternoon -- she had been in same pj's since Friday! SIL didn't feed her, whereas I feed her lunch and I know that is why she was crying today - but SIL insisted she was being a brat. Oh, did I mention I hand make the baby food? Yeah, I do. I know, what a D.A. I am...
I am too old for this S*IT
Well, better get to bed, it's another "get up at 3:30 am" day.
while mommy sleeps and bathes in peace. I swear I did NOT give birth to these children.
**I need to find a meet up group for nannies, baby sitters, child care workers because this is getting way out of hand.
