So, been out of work for a year, been feeling pretty shit about everything and other stresses.
So today, went to a Christmas party where I volunteer (my first Xmas party as don't tend to so******e much) and it went OK. Good food and good company, not too bad.
In the morning, received a letter inviting me for an interview for an admin job that I applied for. Result. Really believe I wouldn't have got that job without the volunteering experiences and confidence that it has given me.
Then just abit ago, just checking my e-mails, got an e-mail informing me that I've got a phone interview for a HR internship on Monday.
Talk about that old well used cliche of buses coming all at once.
Two job prospects in a day compared to none over the last 7/8 months.
WELL CHUFFED!
