My Best Attributes

I never, ever say "Ummm..."
or "uhhhhhhh"
or "you know..."
as an excuse to stop thinking
I think of words, and they come out of my mouth
and they all include words from the English dictionary
If I ever need a couple of picoseconds to refine my sentence
that will be silence
not the tumbleweed of "ummm...."

I'm not ashamed of the many, many minutes, probably hours of my life I've spent umming and erring, although I am very ashamed when it doesn't lead to me saying anything interesting. So i guess it's worth it if you've got something worthwhile to say at the end of it all

It doesn't mean anything bad in terms of content missing - not hiding facts. Just umm and erring - just a pause. Maybe a backfire? Feels like a vaccuum

I sometimes ramble on; I think it puts people off, so it's my downside. Perhaps like reading Tolstoy? Long time speaking, but everything starts with a capital letter, including punctuation, and ending in a full stop. No "..............."

I never say those words, either.

Just enjoy it. It's like a short holiday. :D

Brilliant!

I have nothing to do at a weekend or bank holiday, especially, because I don't have recruiters pulling my strings. It's empty times. I'd love a holiday, but that requires €£$ + friends.... so I need to practice a bit of "ooohhhh... ahhhh"

and I reckon it might be a good way to relate to others in the same boat.

Head holiday
