Is it normal to loose libido when suffering form anxiety?

It's not as if i need my libido but i used to...Ahem! ...Jerk off up to 6 times a day  .....Now i have just totally lost any sexual desire, which is probably a good thing for me but also very worrying should i ever be in a relationship.

Wow, I don't remember doing it 6 times a day - not even when I was 18. I hope there is nothing wrong with me. Anyway, of course anxiety and depression kills your libido. Also, it has to do with age; you are not 20 anymore. Believe me, once after the age of 30, your libido DROPS LIKE A ROCK. And then you suffer from mental pain for not experiencing sex when you were in your prime.

I'm still in the process of accepting the fact that sex will never be the same for me, as it was for people when they experienced it in their 20s and even early 30s. I just don't care about sex when I have such a low sex drive. It has to come natural, and the fact is I'm getting older while being severely depressed. Not a good prospect.

Happened to me during a spell of depression/anxiety. Just have to give it time and when you're ready, get back in the saddle... so to say.

I've had a loss of sex drive recently, its cos I lost loads of weight earlier this year and felt really good about myself but over the last month have piled more than half of it back on so I really do believe that my boyfriend must notice, even though he says I look great I just don't believe him and I don't want him anywhere near me, just in case he catches a glimpse of my belly. I do feel awful but I really don't want it. When I was smaller I wanted it 3 times a day and actually enjoyed him seeing me with clothes off. MUST LOSE WEIGHT AGAIN!!
