Hmmmm...
Pretty isolated, but I'm more comfortable in isolation so it isn't as much of a bother to me as it was when I was 19.
When I was that age I felt that I was comparing myself to other people in social circles more strongly than I am now. When I go to a concert I go by myself. I look around and sometimes feel sad about the fact that I am here alone while so many others are having cheerful conversations in groups.
But, then I notice the handful of other loners in the crowd and it reassures me that I am not alone and that if these people can be here on their own then I will survive. It isn't exactly as easy as it sounds by my words, but I usually get through the night on my own quite well.
I would always say that it is much better to go out and see a movie or a concert on your own than to never leave your room at all.
