i'm sitting watching Oprah when i noticed that she is drinking wine for the first time during an interview and it's none other than johnny depp.

i've heard people saying that he's really shy and a canidate for SP (i think it'd be really hard to speculate that but that's just me) and with him having wine on stage kind of interested me

no, the just randomly had wine. they kept talking to him about what he thought of all the hoopla around him being so hot and he looked like he wanted to run and hide.

It is pretty hard to believe that somebody like Johnny Depp is shy. What with the eccentricity of his characters in films. I've heard that apparantly Daryl Hannah and Makenzie Crook are the same. Perhaps with these people it's that they have alot of confidence performing-wise. but when it actually comes to talking to others as themselfs, they have quite little.

I could believe that. I used to do a lot of theatre and had no problem with standing on a stage with 500 people watching me but was very shy and awkward in person afterwards. Dont do theatre anymore though.

I'm a big fan of that guy ;)
yes he is shy, same as he were from way back in the beginning of his fame. He isn't shy when it comes to playing a role in the film because he turns into someone different. I don't think he would get the guts visiting the school in greenwich if he weren't dressed as captain jack ...

That's the exact reason I joined theatre.

Even if I'm nervous on stage, I know exactly what to say and do so I can make myself appear any way I wish.

There's a reason Depp and Burton became friends.
