Is this a bit weird?

I went to click on this site a couple of days ago and it kept re-directing me to another site saying that the IP for this site had expired. I thought this site had been closed down and actually felt genuinely upset. I've never met anybody on here but when i thought i'd never get to chat to anyone on here again i felt really anxious and upset. Is that normal?
