Hi my name is John & I've bin on this site since March this year (2010) & although I've posted replies on other threads I haven't yet Introduced myself on here.
I don't even kno whether or not I would belong on this particular site bcause sum of u all seem sumwat younger than me "Not that is a problem at all".
I'm nearly 50 yrs old (OOPS!) & I have suffered with GAD probably all my life especially all my adult life.
Although in that time I saw a couple of counsellors about my situation wen I thought I was getting depressed & was'nt, it was just worrying 2 much about myself I guess but itz only bin in the last 5years wen I punched in the word shy on my computer that a whole host of information came up & I started 2 read about me or I could relate 2 sum of wat I was reading & I think it was sumwat of a relief 2 realise on wat I have bin suffering with all these yrs other than just shyness.
Being shy should not prevent u from finding that special sum1 or even getting 2 kno sumbody so I must b Luvshy aswell.
The only things I've had in life in that respect r crushes on people (Gals/women etc) & I think that there have bin the 4mentioned that have bin interested in probably getting 2 kno me, I just did'nt c it (OOPS! I'm going on here.Just wanted 2 Intro meself.
