Dad's been working on watches for longer than I've been alive. And he says a Rolex isn't as reliable as a cheaper watch with a quartz movement, like a Timex or something similar. Mechanical movements have lots of moving parts and are therefore more prone to inaccuracy and failure. But at least they look expensive.

Tell you what. The next time I see a box of cereal with a cheap watch for little kids inside I'll think of you. And I only promise to think of you, not buy the cereal. 😉
