Come on there must be proper medication for vertigo.
And for the sake of Miss FOR REAL you might even consider therapy.

Or else just marry her.:D

OOOO I suffer vertigo too, I had an accident at work and permanently damaged my right side vestibluar funtion, have you tried that therapy where you have to do lots of balance exercises, it helped me alot.

Drinking for me is the worst, I feel good when tipsy but for days after it makes my balance much worse, they say meds dont help either as they prevent you compensating and resetting your brain's balance system.

I flew this year to barcelona, it was unpleasant for two hours (felt like I was falling the whole time) but I did manage it.

These guys helped me alot:

the physiotherapist used to come out to my house and teach me all sorts of things, like as you say balancing excercises, and also stuff like moving my head around in different ways and angles, like 10 ways one way then 10 ways the other, all that kind of stuff, then i was reffered to anxiety management classes, which i must say were really great, i felt so relaxed during these sessions, its just so hard to put this into practice in real life

I would like to move to the US eventually, too. I'm not sure how that will work for me, since I guess I would need some sort of desirable skills for them to accept my application for a green card...

I wish you the best of luck though. :) Keep us informed of how things go, if you can, because I would be very interested to hear. :)

I would imagine immigrants can claim disability benefits in the US? They sure seem to be able to do so here in the UK, anyway!

I want to move to the US myself – the UK is just so depressing for me. A change in location and lifestyle, I think, would do me good.

I guess the grass is always greener on the other side, the UK sounds like a great place to me. The US sucks....

I think most Americans want out of this country. We are quickly being made to bow down to the New World Order. I would go to India before America. Do your research,,America is going to hell in a hand basket!
