Try living with a mother who has OCD (obsessed with cleanliness and tidiness), depression and has a mood that changes like the wind. She can be fine one minute but then you only have to say the wrong thing and she'll explode. It's very wearing.
Profane laced psychotic rages that can go on for hours. I grew up living in an explosive household. Grew up living in fear.
I can't stress it enough though, get a job. It helped me! I still live in a place that I dread more or less, but having a job helped me cope with it far better. Being busy distracts your mind, you're out of the house most of the day, you'll get some self-worth, and when you return you'll be far too tired to be depressed or annoyed with housemates. In fact, your relationship with them will likely vastly improve, since you're working on bettering yourself instead of being stuck in a negative cycle (lazy, worthless days of internetting and depression).
Plus you won't be able to get out of there unless you have income probably.
Please consider this. Don't wait for things to get so bad that you'll have no choice, do it now. I wish you all the best.
