Well, I got hit by a car yesterday at work, in the parking lot. It seems I am fine, but all I can think about is how stupid everyone will think I am (the person who hits me works there too) if they find out. God, I am screwed up! For allowing that to happen, and worrying what people are going to think of me.

Well I thought it is usually the driver's fault, I was a pedestrian so...

Whose fault it was wasn't determined, there were no police or ambulances. Management checked the cameras, and saw his car stop, but not the actual accident. Unless I start to have pain, I won't push anything but I filled out an incident report, so it is on record at least.

And don't feel bad for misunderstanding, I don't think I was clear enough in my OP.

You should get some money out of this, from his insurance co. No matter if your in pain or not, it is still an accident and probably will cause some anxiety. Plus it will wake his stupid ass up too.

I don't know how it could be embarassing for you, i mean unless you did something like deliberately jump in front of his car then there's no reason to be embarassed. If i was the driver in that situation i would be mortified.

Hey recluse, thanks for the reply. Umm, my shoulder hurts pretty bad (didn't start hurting till the day after). My legs are a little weak, which is where he hit me. He seemed he was going like 10mph but my estimation could be way off.

He also works there, which makes it VERY awkward for me. I feel stupid cuz I don't think I was paying as much attention as I should have. And it seems the two managers I talked to seemed a littke...mad at me? but that could just be my imagination.
