Walking is great for...well, for everything. It's exercise, so it's good for your fitness. It keeps your heart pumping. It's good for your mind, as it helps you think and clears some of the negativity away from the exercise. It gives you vitamin D. Plus, if you have an iPod or something, you can listen to music on your journey.

There's nothing detrimental about a walk. :)

I hope you feel better when you return.

i live next to a mountain and when im feeling like crap i walk up it and sit at the top for a bit...my family has nicknamed it frustration hill for me. i feel better afterwards for sure.

I love walking or running it really helps me relax and think clearly. There are loads of fields and lakes about five mins away from where I live, quite lucky really. Would hate to live in a city and have to walk the streets.

I was just about to go for a walk, until I checked your postie.

I love anything that gets me out of the house, when there are more than 3 rivers here

It's primarily picking up my medication, watching wandering zombies.

Heading to my worshipped gym altar will be tomorrow at 7am uphill by bike and a 60min run at maximum incline
I'm getting closer to the end of my kilogram pull-up stack, when I might be able to lift my own weight, using biceps, triceps and chest

I hate having to accept my inability to accurately tie my own shoelaces, or afford better footwear
