Hugging?

I don't know if not hugging someone is part of SA. But when people want to hug me, I can't stand it. No matter who it is, I'm not a person who likes to touch other people or them touching me. How do you feel about hugging?

I'm usually pretty nervous about it until I'm comfortable enough around them that I'm ok with being near them or physical contact. At that point though, I turn into a total hug-monster :) Go figure 0.o

Depends who it is....ok with husband and kids hugging me. Can't stand it with more distant family who want to hug and kiss me goodbye. I usually try and get in car quick and avoid where possible. They don't know my problems and prob just think I'm rude. Sometimes I just have to grin and bear it if I didn't run fast enough.

I sort of don't like being touched much of the time, but I've experienced the rare, and occasionally satisfying hug. I definitely think my SP has something to do with it.

I love it. But only if its from hot chicks. But they never hug me. They do touch me often though, and when they do, I feel extremely nervous and excited. It feels so goooooooooooooooooooooood...............

OMG, I hate that, too! And people are so touchy-feely here in Germany  . I have to stop myself from cringeing when acquaintances want to hug or (horrors!) kiss me on the cheek. When I greet somebody, I always stick out my hand for a handshake, that wards off all but the most determined "huggers" :p . The only people I don't mind touching me are my husband and my son.

I can stand touching but not pinching, this girl used to pinch me and it really really hurt..

hugging is another matter entirely

Yeah I feel like my space is being invaded when a hug missile comes rushing in at me. I just grin and bear it most of the time. Hugs are for the birds.

Peace

Hugs are great, I hug my close friends and family. It's always very nice when someone you meet for the first time reaches out to hug you.

it sounds like you have autism or something. lol. what the hells wrong with you?
That has balls all to do with autism. My nephew is autistic and doesn't have any problem with being affectionate.
